Things to think about:

Pinterest is a great, visual way to collect, organize, and share image-based resources you find on the web. However, there are some limits:

  • It is basically a pretty list of resources, you cannot automatically pin resources like PDF files or any other resource that does not have an image.
  • Having said that, you can upload your own images to be able to pin websites that do not have images…but this is not done as quickly.
  • In order to view anything on Pinterest you must be signed in – so when you share your resources from Pinterest, your students or the other educators you share them with will need to create accounts in order to view them.
